• Event Brief 
  • In its inaugural year, the Clearwater Beach Classic features clinics from some of the best paddlers and coaches in the world.  Demos for some of the latest and greatest equipment will be provided and some of the best racing action will be going on all weekend.  Races will range from 6-Person Outrigger Canoe’s on Saturday to SUP, Surfski, Prone-Boards, and single person outrigger canoes taking place on Sunday.
• About 
  • 2015 will kick off the first inaugural Clearwater Beach Classic which originated on the beautiful beaches of Treasure Island, Florida formerly named as the Treasure Island Classic.  The Treasure Island Classic for many years was one of the largest and top rated paddling events in the state of Florida which brought in outriggers, surfski’s, kayaks, and prone paddle boards.   Rea Sieber past the torch onto Jean Raas last year and Jean teamed up with Rob and Karen Mirlenbrink to bring the race up to the Clearwater Beach area and renamed the event as the Clearwater Beach Classic.   Clearwater Beach is known as one of the top beaches in the USA voted by USA Today. With the fast paced growth of the paddling sport in Florida the event is geared to accommodate all paddlers from Outrigger Canoe, SUP, Surfski, or Prone Paddle-boards. This event will have everything you are looking for and we invite you to the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico to enjoy a weekend of paddling.

This info should be able to get us going.  I still need to do waivers, registration forms, and course details.   I will get those done fairly soon.

Could you send the official Ozone logo and also send me the layout design for the flags that you did.  Do you know where we can order these flags from?   We can get prices locally but let me know if you know of a company that does good flags which we could order online with.

On the email address, can you remind what the address was for the event and will the emails automatically be forward to my personal email address?   Just wondering how this is all set up.

For the Facebook page, how can I go in and edit the page with updates and pictures.   Do you need to make me an administrator?

Website, is this an easy website to make changes to or should all updates be funnelled through you to update the website?

Clinic Info – Did you get my email on the clinic info?  We need to post on Facebook and the website to start getting some interest.
